| HIa My insurance is due in May so seeing I was having a lazy day thought I would look into it just for fun I checked the site out after getting a quote from Saga So here you go my quotes for 2013 Fully com me driving £200 access and breakdown cover Saga ------- £657.88 Comfort -----£522.66 Safeguard ----£471.48 Caravan guard ---£515.50 And the C&CC who I am with already C&CC------- £334.91 Which was the same as last year BUT When I asked about my car bump it boosted it up to. £463.91 So it looks as I will go with them as the other companies did not know about my little bump Oh we'll I will have a nice glass of wine me thinks maybe 2 as it is still less than what I expected | |

| Hi Polly,
You need to be careful as insurance companies share a central database of damage claims. If you don't declare and they find out, your insurance could be invalid!
I've been with a broker called Sureterm of St. Ives Cambs and last year my Scout was in the region of £333, their renewal this year, with a different insurance company was £507.
I've now gone back to a broker Lifesure of Eaton Socon and through Axa I have a the same if not better cover for £265!
Regards,
Malcolm

| I did say when you claimed that it would have repercussions at renewal. I just paid my first annual premium for Robbie with safeguard and with only 3 yrs no claims I paid £343 I increased the excess to the maximum of £500 as I would not consider a claim unless it ran into thousands. | |

| Personally I don't pay for no claims protection £35 I think because even with protection the premium will go up if a claim is made and then you get your full discount off the higher amount they decide. | |

| Our cars are dearer than the motor home, that is normal. It would be very unusual to lose all no claims! [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] | |
