Opinions required please

I am looking at adding extra info for my stopover database and one addition I would like to add is the type of parking/pitches available.

The above are an attempt at representing the different types of pitch/parking, but do they make sense?

What do you think each one represents?

Tarmac, sand and grass not sure about the 4th

If what Ken says is correct could you not have 
HP Hard parking
GP Grass parking
SP Sand parking

And so on........

Having seen this again, is it
Car park or similar
Hard standing pitch
Grass pitch
Hard standing with grass area (For awnings etc)

What they are supposed to represent is both the parking/pitch type AND the access type.
i.e. there is a difference between a site which is all grass and a site where you park on grass but there are access roads to the pitch.

First: Tarmac/Asphalt parking and access (ie car park)
Second: Gravel parking and access
Third: Grass pitch/parking and access (A CL/CS type field)
Fourth: Grass pitch/parking with road access

A site may have all or one of the pitch types
Also need an icon for sloping sites.
May adopt the abbreviation idea by SandJ but that doesn't cover the access road

Just turn the P 45° for a sloping site
