| Nice pic of an Osprey there Dux. We sailed / raced mirrors, laser 2's, then an Iso. Still got our picnic boat, Skipper 14...gkids love it.

| Thanks. Got a good racing record, 2,3,4 in open meetings and 5th in the nationals this year (but helmed by Dave Wade of P&B in the nationals) Lovely boat - my mid life crisis toy as the motorbike was sold!
Had various boats all for racing, including wayfarer no 33 which was still competitive at 50 years old
Edit - can't see boat name...... "Contains nuts" | |

| My VFR 750 was frighteningly quick, but I scared myself more in the Iso. Always described it as being the E-type jag on Coniston. And then I saw an International Canoe being sailed by an expert!

| Coniston - there is a good place. Try Coniston Hall campsite right next to the sailing club. Coniston sailing club are very friendly as well. We have an open meeting there late spring bank holiday every year. Great venue and camping close by | |
