We are having this system fitted in the van in the morning which covers all habitation doors etc Carl the man who owns the company spent an unrushed hour on the telephone Going through the system etc nothing was too much trouble ...the van can be immobilised from the call centre if anyone stole the keys and drove away etc. we think this is a great idea and peace of mind for an extra £95 per year and safeguard gives us a 33% discount for having this system installed so we get that money back every year. Safeguard were excellent with our recent claim on the small damage to our motorhome. Our instance is only as good as when we try to make a claim we will be using them again next year! We will post after alarm is fitted with feedback of the work. This alarm has wireless sensors also inside the van for movement and can protect the van outside while the alarm is turned off inside while occupied or for pets.

Like the idea of being able to immobilise it if its stolen -could imagine someone stopping just outside a police station !- but there again probably no one there!

If they immobilise the van as it is being driven and it causes an accident - someone runs into the back of the van, the van stops across a junction etc, who would be to blame?
