Just joined here, though a number of you might find the name familiar..........

I work in the mucky side of the oil business running the marine services for a global company so spend a lot of time in other places of the globe. Currently bored out of my skull in Hamburg trying not to work. Know a bit about fuels so feel free to ask for gratuitous and useless advice. Run a very nice Autosleepers Broadway which has had a few toys added. See you around!

I must own up and admit that the van gets a lot of use as sailing dinghy transport as I race an Osprey (two man trapeze boat) and gets parked up with a few other similar vans in places where people would not normally consider camping (dinghy parks at various sailing clubs) but Dawn, my better half and myself are also determined to get about and tour a bit more than we do. Away this weekend with the Funsters at Mersea. We do take a few long haul holidays when we can but have no desire to rent a Winnebago - yet!

Dawn also helps out a lot at the local dog rescue place SESAW where she does a lot of rehoming and we also foster some animals not suitable for kennels which can be a bit limiting at times.

Hi David, a handle I recognise from other forums, welcome and maybe we can meet sometime as we have never made it yet. Nice City Hamburg, spent many a weekend there when I was working.

Hi and welcome David- I am also into sailing - have a laser 2000 and a solo which are often towed around the country and abroad. Sail mainly for pleasure now
