Banned or Not

Heard earlier that Scotland might be lowering the amount of acohol  compared with England.
Eg England one pint before your over the limit
Scotland half a pint before your over the limit
So if you are over the limit in Scotland you would be banned from driving
Now question
Would that ban be in force in England
As by rights you would have not been over the limit in England

Can't see how that will work, we have a UK licence not a Scottish or English licence

good one polly,you should post this on mhf and see how many smart arses get the answer.but i think as it stands you will be banned all over the uk.unless you have no passport no id no tax no insurance and can only speak swahili then they will bail you,never to be seen again.

Agree that's not going to work. The drink limit hasn't been thought through between Scotland and England.

Years ago I knew someone who was caught by speed cameras in Scotland. They received a summons to appear in the Sheriff's Court, Scotland. Said he wasn't going as the Sheriff Office didn't have any jurisdiction in England. Believe that was the end of the matter as his licence remained clean.
