Outer Hebredes

Sorry thought I had started a post on this but can't find it

Well

I am going to the outer Hebredes in May 

Hopefully carry on up after the beer and sausage festival

I have  some kind of plan for my ferry journeys

So there's a start

Oh brill
Now I can pack my clothes for a weekend, a week, a fortnight but a month what do I take 
And not knowing what the weather is going to be like 
Suppose same as for a week

Now I know why I declutted

Nearly there but have the beer and sausage festival first 

But question

Anyone know if you can overnight at Stornaway habour or somewhere very very close as will be arriving at 11 pm

After a brilliant weekend we have set off 
We are having lunch at McDonald's in a service area at Lockerbie only anothe 79miles to do to campsite
Oh and it is raining

Have a great time     

Raining here - suppose it's raining in Ayr as well ?

Been in Ayr

Just had a game of bingo int he clubhouse now going to the bonga wings bar
Oh got a sticker for being quite

On the ferry across and just had the helecopter doing practise runs of lifting a person of the ship

Robs just reminded me we have 4 cameras,2 phones and a I pad
So I don't think we would have missed anything
I've trained Rob now and he pulls in every 10 minutes to take pictures

 enjoy your hols,the last time we was up there i was swimming with the seals,well i was swimming and seen a seal and that was my q to swim as fast as i could to the shore.

Just saying hiya and that we are surviving the gales and it's interesting how far the van will move without going over ha ha

At least it will keep the midges away

Verdict still out on scenery Joyce
Weather was not kind to us at all
But we survived
And I have had a grown up camera to use so might be able to post a couple for you as I gave internet
We have and are enjoying our travels
We are back on mainland Scotland
Been back to the Fort William sites and now at Loch Ness C&CC site and it's beautiful ( not the weather but the site and surroundings ) 
From here we are going to Magbrins just up or down the road, then over to Edinburgh, then to see the Falkirk Wheel, then ????

If you are going to Edinburgh carry on to Leith and go round Britannia, the royal yacht. It's worth an afternoon visit.

Stayed at mag runs nursery last night near Inverness
I had a puncture on the A9 so waited for the very nice man to come
We are now at the Falkirk wheel for the night then onto Edinburgh then not sure but heading down the map now

We are nearly out of Scotland
Thought we would vacate and let them have some nice weather as this awful weather seems to be following us
Catch up soon with pictures etc etc

We are home
Sad to leave a sunny Lytham St Ann's
Will have to sort out the things in the van take out put away , clean, put back in 
Ordered 4 new tyres 
Now going to phone the electrician to se about my batteries/solar panel
