They know you have a aquatic zoo in the garage as I did inform them of your attempted smuggling out of the UK and also told them you smuggled a Pork Pie into the UK so you could be delayed for days, I could of course withdraw my accusations if you admit that you lost the Pork Pie competition to a proper Lancashire Pork Pie.

Seriously do hope you are not delayed for too long, one consolation is at least you have a M/H and have some comfort whilst waiting.

Not only that Bob on the M25 a french Rapido motorhome in front of me chucked up a stone....Oh bugger a cracked windscreen...that's 200 euros repair or replace... on our insurance and others in france on a motorhome you have to take an excess of 200euros due to the large motorhome screens being expensive....
And to the the admit question...NO....and bribery to try and get me to let you win.. won't work...you did came a close second..

Good News
Carglass (autoglass) arrived this morning and yes it is repairable
All done now and left...30 mins max
On a few insurance companies in France even though you have an excess...you are allowed a repair..like many in the UK..the good news mine is one of them and it is allowed 3 repairs to front windscreen all the time I am with that insurance company...

After  that we will have to pay the €150 private....or the 200 excess through the company....

Have you got any ideas what is causing the trip?
Is it the mains or 12v tripping out?

Mark
Mains where it enters the house.....the internal normal fuse box (ours ) has a 40amp.30 ma earth leakage trip...that's not tripping but the EDF 500 ma is tripping !!
No as it runs ok most of the times...thunder in the distance can and does trip it....there is no item interior that is causing it....and when we are away...all that is on is the...freezer...fridge..telephone...and the Fon....

It went all winter while we was in Portugal 4 months and also it had the central heating on frost 8 to 10c.no problems....but last september while we was in Brittany 1 month..trip and while we was in the UK this June/ July...trip...it sometimes trips when we are home heavy rain & thunder..but we can reset easy and it resets without any problems....so I would say "storms "...but the neighbours are still on after the same storms

Yes these new modern consumer units are very fussy they trip at the flick of a switch (pardon the pun) but your problem is frustrating as it goes while you're away wish I could help but my knowledge ends with lights & switches I'm afraid  Sad
