Right hand indicators

Post by Leapy on Mon 28 Sep 2015 - 7:31

Have been having trouble with my right hand indicators - working sometimes and not others
Have removed and cleaned all terminal and bulb holders-all worked fine whilst I've been away but as soon as I am home the problem has happened again and now wont work at all
Any ideas??

Thought this problem was solved but now back and more serious as neither side indicators work and when you press the indicator stalk the alarm siren goes off
That's a new one for me -have checked earth etc but baffled!

Auto electrician time Pete.
Could well be an earth problem, your flasher unit and alarm are linked, if there is no earth it could be trying to use the other unit as an earth and can give some weird problems
