Fitted a 1500w peak 3000w inverter .conected to 2 ×110 batts.
Charged by solar panel seperate to the leasure batts .with 35.mm cable .
My question is do i need to fit in line fuse and wear and what size amp .and as the cables are as thick as my little finger what type.
Our largest apliance is hair dryer which is 1200w .

Re: Inverter question.
You can buy 40amp fuses and holders on e bay the same as used for engine batteries. I have seen them fitted on solar to battery. Leads, they take the thicker cables.
