Colin had a Garmin that went dead just out of guarantee. Took it back to where we bought it to be told one of the prongs where the charging wire goes will have broken internally. Common problem apparently. We went back to a Tom Tom. No problems after 3 years.

Well it can only happen to me. My garmin is still not working Garmin site is down due to a virus
WELL yesterday I phoned them on a free phone line but waiting time was over half an hour. So this morning armed with my coffee and pad and pen and garmin sat nav , phoned them the waiting time was 25 minutes said the lady. So decided to wait as it was a free phone number. So coffee and tv , when within 10 minutes they phoned me. Nice chap listened to wahat I said then took me through the reset. Which I had already done. Well to no avail still nothing . He did say something about they should always be charged up even when not being used. Ok so he explained for me to send it back and they would replace it as it’s still in warranty. I actually thought it was only 1 year but a friend told me it was 2 years. So in the box it as gone took to the company I use for any parcels and a chrome sat watching homes under the hammer with my coffee. Fingers crossed all will go well. But Why Me
