Lottery Increase

Post by elldwin on Wed 16 Jan 2013 - 17:06

I see they are planning to increase the lottery subscription from £1 to £2 in the autumn.

Can you let me know your views and whether you want to pay the increase.

I am quite happy to carry on doing it.

Well Jan, the minute I pull out you will all win the big one. Working on that theory, I will pay the increase so long as enough of us will and the syndicate doesn't collapse. Very Happy

Re: Lottery Increase

Post by tessajoe on Wed 16 Jan 2013 - 17:54

i think its disgusting the robbing gits, the uk national lottery is owned by a canadian pensions company.it would be intresting to see how they are going to revamp the prize breakdown,is it going to be like the euro that was 1.50 went up to 2.00 to include the big con,or the big raffle number.i would bet that they do the same lotto up from 1.00 to 1.50 and the compulsory 0.50 pence for your big con sorry big raffle bringing it in line with the euro prices.

i have firmly belived for years that the lotto is fixed.and i have many reasons for this.

no1.if its live on bbc1,why cant we have a clock in the studio?

no2.why does the presenter/s not wear a watch, none of them do?

i have other reasons, which i will keep secret until i publish my book.

but apart from all that i am in.only because margarite would kill me if our numbers come up.and i wasnt part of it.

ps.invest in the canadian swindling pension company.

Yeah I'll still stay in it.
I'm with Frank on this, their robbing gits, they make enough out of it, stop giving it away so easy, just use if for needy things, we have monuments on the hilltops round here, big horrible steel structures, all funded by the lottery Twisted Evil

This increase will not come into force until September 2013 so all is well for now, as we will have won the "bigun" by then

I agree with Frank & ken haven't done it ever, I know they say you've gotta be in it to win it, but I would rather enjoy an extra bottle of wine each week for the money! Also as to the new changes apparently the middle winning amounts will go down even though the top & bottom amounts will increase
