| Here's a link to some details, but double check the site if you are thinking of buying just in case reduced from £189.99 to £24.99 if you download it. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

| Have windows 8 on my new laptop-quite different from others and takes some getting used to but there are good points
I would say it is really designed for touch screen computers-fiddly for built in mouse on laptop-better with external mouse | |

| Hi, I signed up for it and paid my £24.99 downloaded it and burnt it to a DVD, in order to beat the deadline of the 31st saving £165 GREAT Then like the idiot I am, I decided to read what the compatibility program had shown as problems, only to find that it won't work with Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003 which I use all of the time, and I'm not going to pay £395 to replace it, so I have a copy of windows 8 that isn't getting installed any time soon. That's the problem when you are looking for BARGAINS you sometimes jump in without thinking about it fully and then end up with something that you can't use LoL |

| Yes I have been looking at that, but it really doesn't help as I use Office more or less all the time, so I would need to boot in say Win 7 most of the time which sort of negates any gain I may as well stay with Win 7 all the time ? |

| Hi, Ken
Thanks for the suggestions but it all seems a bit to much trouble, as from what I can read windows 8 isn't that much of an improvement if you haven't got a touch screen,
I have been reading up on the problem with Office 2003 and it does seem that some people have found it works fine but others are reporting problems, albeit Microsoft are not saying what will or will not work ? which isn't very helpful as while I do use it all the time I don't use everything that it can do, so it would be helpful if they said this works and that doesn't.
