Resignation

It is with regret that on behalf of the committee that I have to notify you that our Chairman Mick Hancox (Vat Man) has tendered his resignation with immediate effect.
We would like to express our thanks for all his hard work and contributions in the setting up and running of our club, along with his wife Pam.
They are keen to remain as members and we look forward to seeing them both on the rally field

Update.
I would like to inform you all that Mick's plan all along was to help us get the club up and running, he only planned on staying in his role for 6 to 12 month.and did a lot to get us where we are now.
Due to unforeseen circumstances he had to do this sooner than he wanted.
But, this left us in a position were we have no Chairman, and other committee members are going on a European tour, making it difficult to arrange and hold a meeting to sort this out and elect a new Chairman.
Mick has contacted me and said he is willing to retract his resignation and stand as Chairman for another three month or until we elect a new Chairman whichever is the soonest.
