Another lovely start with blue sky - forecast for slightly warmer today although Allen ( wints) did say it was 29 c in the shade behind his van yesterday!!

Need to find supermarket today and stock up - pulled into one yesterday and got to entrance to find 2.5 m height barrier!!!

Polly the   is shining here in Southport but don't know for how long as big grey clouds forming so I hope your canal festival is ok, been to a few of them when we lived in Hyde & Stalybridge, have a smashing day everyone.
Packed and ready to go today Bridlington bound after a couple of stops along the way.

No  here, very overcast, looks like it's going to rain, so could be in and out all day with the washing !

After leaving Hungary we stayed in Austria for a bit, no internet (same as Germany), so just chilled out and watched all the folk working on the vines in the red hot sun.
Then on to Germany where the weather was not very good, did some more of the romantic road and a bit more of the Rhinelands.

  Nice to be back, I suppose.

Yesterday was sat in a co op car park engine switched of and just listening to the radio waiting for my friend (yes I do have one) to arrive. While looking in my purse for some pennies to feed the machine when bump. A MAN who was going to park next to me in his punto seemed to overshoot his spot and thought he would. Remove me from mine.
I got out of my car to speak to him and he was oblivious that he had hit me. He reversed back and re entered his parking space.
Now I have nothing against the elderly as we will all get there sometime, but he was ELDERLY and I mean ELDERLY 
 He put a nice scratch on my car and I was not impressed.
 My friend arrived just as I was informing him and showing him what he had done.

We went off and had our coffee with a lovely good slice of home made carrot cake and a good old catch up.

Makes me wonder how many more cars he as hit of walls or anything else.

Doesn't sound good Polly did you get his insurance details?

Saw my mechanic and he is going to sort it for me, but I am going to write to the man and tell him I don't think he should be driving

This is my 3rd bump in 3years
1st one yes was my fault didn't see a stump and banged the m/h door was a mess

2nd I drove into the back of another car was technicoly my fault but I didn't feel it was my fault

3rd this one was not my fault 

Oh well life goes on 

Just had a thought all 3 vehicles I own or have owned have now had a bump each so that should be it ha ha

up early this morning working till 3 pm then pick up van of to local d.a meet the weather is fantastic here its sun sun sun all the way disision made we are of to namibia in january sun sun...............................

They say its been the hottest place in the uk here 
  off to collect M/H today!.

Yes another lovely morning

Started my dog sitting duties yesterday  so I will be running to a timetable throughout the days but this weather will be changing that eg more visits and kindle reading.

My car goes in for a recall to do with steering and a bolt so I will wait for it.

This evening is our Ethan's end of year show which is The Lion King and going off last years production of Cats should be good except for the heat and hard seats will take a cushion with me.

Tomorrow evening daughter in law would like me to go with her to George's new school.

And I have those socks waiting to be made into monkeys busy busy busy

Had a  great day , after a dreary start it has been a scorcher  here.

One more run to do later well this as put a halt to my alcohol intake.

Was looking for the post on these retractable hose pipes.

I have just nearly had myself intwined in one. It nearly tripped me up.

They have a mind of there own when emptying out the water 

First time I used it when finished just unconnected it from tap ----- no not a good idea, water came flying out at me

But I must say they are good and light to use

St Swinthens day today and as far as I can remember (not very) it seems to have always rained but today looks good so that will mean no rain for the next 40 days and 40 nights

Well it would be silly not to

Its 28.5 here so far today, as its past noon I suspect it wont get any hotter.

We forgot to pull our blinds in the conservatory over the weekend when we were away and when we got home I opened it up, a wall of heat hit me, just like opening an oven.  I checked the thermostat and it said it was 120 degrees.  It could've been higher for all I know as the thermostat only goes up to 120

judt done good bike ride 7 to 8 miles before it get red hot trying to get some bingo cards and other things for the up comeing rallys we have booked got every thing but can not get bingo card rock horse s..t comes to mind

Morning all, yes this weather is brilliant and we should be very happy its here, but it is strange when you go into a room and think hey up the heating on when you no well it is not.

Should be sufficiently close and clammy in the m/h at night over the next few nights and today is suppose to be the hottest yet, over 32°

Day 2 at milford been for one of our famous walks today, you know the ones which take hours in this case flaming hot!!!.
Now sitting in deck chair with a cold one well it is 10 past!.

Nice one Mark - too hot to sit out here, think we're going to suffer at the show, more than likely no shade !  

But there again it is up north !!

Get yur awning out John!, that's what I'm doin right now just starting to get hot so better have another cold one.

Might not be able to if we're door to door with one of them English vans ....   .
