| Home OK before 2 this aft, managed to empty the van in two trips. Birmingham job is replaced with a 9 day shop refurb in Glasgow train station. The van performed faultlessly throughout and I'm real glad I have Michelin camper tyres with side wall reinforcement as I hit a good share of curbs. The electrics could have fed 4 vans but the inverter battery cables are not big enough IMHO so I've uprated them to 35mm. I experienced one afternoon where the passenger side suspension made a lot of squealing when steering around roundabouts but the next day it had gone? Just need to acquire the knowledge of suitable repair materials for the rear corner moulding to set him straight. | |

When we were in France , a couple of times we heard a some strange noises from the rear of the van , then they went away , a few days later we broke down, so it may be prudent to get underneath and check out where your noise was coming from? | |

| Yes too true Baz. I had a look but nothing obvious. At Fecamp that afternoon it would squeal while turning the steering while stationary which was quite alarming but it's gone completely. | |

| Thanks Mike but that's not it. Having fitted new brake pads I'm aware of that noise as the pads bed in to worn discs. On cornering the very tiny amount of wheel bearing float allows the new pads to clip the rust on the disc edge.Mine are fully bedded in now and it no longer happens for now. The noise I got was even without the wheels rotating, just steering on the spot could do it. | |
