Spoke to a few people lately about mixing your own liquid, here's the products I use
1st you need a PG base, unflavoured but contains nicotine, you are better buying the higher dosage one (54mg), it is more expensive, but you will use less of it
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]2nd you will need a flavouring - I buy the PG based ones
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]3rd you will need a bottle of VG (Glycerin) you can buy it a Liberty flights, but you can get it at the chemist a lot cheaper, this is the one I use from Boots, what ever you get, make sure its 100% as the others at 80% Etc are diluted with sugar and will block your burner
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]4th you will need some distilled water, readily available from places like Halfords, but as you only use a small amount you could distill your own easily enough.
You need this to water down the VG liquid as it is too thick at 100%, when I diluted mine, I put 20ml in a 200ml bottle of VG
I got a few 30ml bottles, a 100ml mixing bottle, a 30ml shringe and needle all available from here
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]There is a calculator available here to show you how to mix it
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]The recipe I use to mix 100ml with a 10mg Nicotine strength and flavour set at 15% is
PG with nicotine - 18ml
Flavouring - 15ml
VG liquid - 67ml
I have just done a quick check, if you buy the PG at 54mg you use 18ml, if you buy the lower one at 27mg you would use 37ml - twice the amount
When mixing, for a good throat hit you need more PG, for a lot of smoke you need more VG
If you had 100% PG you would have good throat hit but no smoke
If you had 100% VG you would have no throat hit and lots of smoke
I mix mine at 32% PG and 68% VG
Hope this helps, if you do decide to mix your own and want any help with anything, just ask
