Had my air suspension fitted today they wanted another£48 off me. Why

because your a scotsman

Safeguard only made a note on my file, no cost was incurred for any additions I made. Reduction was made for rear view camera.

sorted out the insurance.we payed £50000 for the van if u then we added 5k more extras ull need that insured as well so ur insuring a £55000 van instead of a £50000 so it does make sence.(I knew my insurance wasent crap)....

Mine is insured for market value and no matter what you think it is worth that is all you will get.

 so is mine andy.but if ur van is worth wat ever its worth and u put any extras on if ur involved  in a bump ull want to be payed out as well for ur van and ur extras.  ok andy uve put a lot on ur van ok say u bought ur van for a  certain amount of money say 40 grand u put another 10 grand into the van ull want that back if something goes tits up.so for and extra £40 odd quid now that I understand I think its worth it.

That would only be in the event of a total write off fire or theft.
If you insure with safeguard it is what it is they don't charge more if you add value. Value makes little difference to the price of a policy, most of the cost is in case you drive into someone else or break down and need recovering from Spain.
