IMPORTANT PLEASE READ
We advise you do not use our postcode in your Sat Nav to find us, as it takes you to an industrial estate nearby. From M1 Junction 31 take the A57 towards Sheffield, at the roundabout take the A618 towards Mansfield, Wales Bar and Clowne, at the traffic lights go straight on and the park entrance is at the bottom of the hill on the right.

5 days and water miles away   just great, no ehu, a hike for water, and pray tell how far for the elsan point ? just great   

Is it a long way Pete or will we reach with a few hose pipes? I'll be bringing about half a dozen connectors, will have aqua roll as well

what gets me Ken, Pete, is that these peep's that own the land want to fleece us because we are campers and they don't give a poo about service, we have just had a meet where the water was for us close by but others had a 300mt walk for it and the elsan point nearly killed me at 200mt uphill in long grass was the end, Thanks bazza for the use of the smart car.

Is it worth seeing if you can all be moved closer to the water, might be worth a phone call just a thought.

Normally when I have attended this venue it has been for the weekend -so water and elsan have never been an issue
I will speak to the lady in charge -who is normally very helpful.
Mark I have chosen where to park as the other area is too hilly for motorhome to get level.
I will be bringing my scooter and generator to help if there are any problems- I need it to get to the gate to let any late arrivals in -as it is over a mile away ! lol
My assistant also has a van I can use

 think we mite be  able to use the tap at the ski center peter not sure if there is a elson point

just had a lovely shopping experdition looking for raffle prizes and I have purchased 2 or3 or maybe 4 
But I am pleased with them also treated myself , well it would have been rude of me not to

Phantom fully charged and ready for flying, get them van roofs washed folks
got an extra two batteries as well and inreased the height limit to 200 meters

You would be better with a brush on the Phantom then you could charge us for washing the roofs and solar panels   

Thought Buffy was spotless Bob- you usually do a good job ( pay someone else lol   )- just wish I had someone local!
For those adventurous types- the cable ski centre is next to where we park- all you need to bring is a board or water-skis- I'll provide the camera       and sponsor anyone for the laps they complete!!

Evening 6.00pm (prompt)American supper- bring food to share and your own plates,dishes and utensils

11.00am Coffee morning Please pay your rally fees and bring your quiz sheets
 Evening 7.00pm 60's music quiz-how good is your memory!lol
Monday
Quiet evening to chat with your friends
All events may change due to weather !
A walk around lake and a boules match may be include at some point

Any news on the water point/elsan point Pete, as you know I cannot fill at home and at the moment cannot fill up at storage place, so will need to fill as soon as we get there.

Directions to camping area
From main gate follow road through park until you cross a bridge
Turn left and follow road and bear first left .
Proceed along this road watching out for the speed bumps !
The road rises and falls and then you will see the water on your right .
Camping is on the right just before the second row of trees - passing carefully between the posts set into the ground.
There is a separate site at the ski centre you don't want that one !!

I have just a few about 4 objects you know the ones I have the useful useless objects. So I will bring them along this weekend and pop them on a table with like an honest box and if a anyone can find a use of anything just drop some coins into the box and hi presto you than come a proud owner of a useful useless object and the coins will go to the charity.

Enjoy the park and outdoor space
The park is open from 8.30 am daily except Christmas Day.
Come and enjoy the open spaces, have a picnic bring your own BBQ, eat at the cafe, have an ice cream play your own outdoor games, watch the watersports and events as they take place in the park.
The park has plenty of wildlife to see with over 260 species of birds that have been recorded at the site, a nature reserve, plenty of wild rabbits, foxes and some farm animals, which are protected by the Llama see if you can spot it....

Group Bookings We cater for a number of different types of group bookings including;
Education Groups from Primary School age to University degree students

Coaches and mini buses enter the park free of charge if picking up / dropping off customers / waiting with their customers.
The coach and mini bus parking is before the bridge but customers can be dropped off at their meeting point and the coach park up afterwards at the designated area.

Mobility Scooters / Wheelchair Hire and Bikeability
We have a number of mobility scooters and wheelchairs that have been donated by Parkgate Mobility for customers to use.
You will be required to register with us and provide proof of disability and a passport photo to gain a mobility card.
These services are booked on a first come first served basis.
