| As we have several sailors amongst us and some prospective sailors I think we should have a boating section-would be useful to share places were we could go boating - even have a boating meet -although we have ben close to that already lol | |

It is, this forum is about motorhomes/motorhoming, we are just trying to introduce other things people might be interested in. Activities such as?? | ok my ideas. fishing, wine tasting,(as polly said)try to do a meet in nearly each county where ppl are in the forum not just up north most of the time,a bbq meet frank done a cracking bbq at tabley,maybe a night at the dogs meet or a weekend at the races meet,or a bring and by meet where members can get rid of some stuff where other members might like or want.i know u can put stuff and sell it on the forum but maybe have an meet and do it just to get ppl meeting. or a meet at Snowdonia for the walkers amongst us.the f1 at Silverstone for the racing car drivers amongst us.a few yrs ago me and barb went on a comedy cruise for the weekend from Portsmouth to bilbao then it cost for 3 nights £49 each now its about £80 each.there that's a few of my ideas I have many more.yes I know ppl will be busy or cant make them for one reason or another but u asked me for my ideas well u have them. | |

Agree Pete these are the sort of things we need to do on this forum, even though boating is not my thing. Also things like motorsport events etc... as Hugh added in his post (that's the sort of thing we like to do), there are loads of motorsport events running all year round in this country & not that expensive either!!. Just a thought. | |
