| TT have had some serious software glitches recently with their new models, suggest you go look on their forum for answers, I had no map share updates for over 22 weeks but last night they resumed when I did an update which went smoothly. | |

| Just a word of caution for anyone using TT in France for the first time and probably many other sat. navs. Plan your route on a map first as it is a tinker for cutting off corners and taking up un-suitable roads for campers and tuggers. If the road sign does not show the next town you are heading for ignore it until you get to a more major junction.
I can do it to some degree back in Blighty but much more so in France. We had little problem in Spain and Portugal | |

| These will probably be the map share updates, not major updates like new maps etc. _________________ Keeping Leapys boat sailing [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

| Just updating mine now, all you had to do before was go to the "Tom Tom getstarted" page and install everything from there, no need to install any software, looks like this has changed, you do need software now And when I come to update my Tom Tom Go Live 1005, it now says I have a GO LIVE 1005 / GO Camping EU - where the hell did that come from? I'll download it and try it but if it's no good I'll be on to them for the normal version, I didn't buy the camping one - but it could be a free bonus _________________ Keeping Leapys boat sailing [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |
