i was told about this village hall by the guy who fitted my solar panels.they often use it and its 3.50 per night,and you can use the toilets/kitchen.

only as a group,as far as i know.
 and they have a bar you can operate for the group.

Martin Mere bird sanctuary and wildlife park very close by and and is well worth a visit
