Just Joined

Hi,

I am new to this idea of forums, but as we bought our first Motorhome this year it seems a good idea to join this friendly site. We have already been to Greece and back and had a great time. Our two dogs accompanied us on our tour.

I was wondering if 'Motor-Homers' has a dedicated area for chat about pet travel? We have already learned a lot from our 8 weeks away.....but we always have 'room' for more knowledge, - and also perhaps we have some tips for other travellers who wish to do a similar trip?

I also see that the usual popular destinations in Europe, France/Spain/Portugal are well represented on the forums. Do you have separate headings for different countries, or does everything just come under European Travel?

Looking forward to learning loads more from all of you regulars.

Generally our forum is adhoc & is run by its members so any ideas you have feel free.
we do try to have regular meets if you're interested. 
 

hi woody,we are having our xmas bash this weekend so most of the active members will be getting the vans ready hence little responce.we also take our dog{molly}everywhere we go,off to portugal in jan,and we have members either in portugal or on the way who also take the dogs with them.at the moment we dont have a dedicated area for pet travel.but its a good idea for one to be added.hope you enjoy our site.

Our Motorhome is called 'Molly' tessajoe! - Nice to hear we are well supported as dog owners Quicksam and tessajoe.

I like your snowman The Burchies! I'll have to improve my forum skills and add bits to my profile!

I hadn't realised that the website has only been up and running for this year. I'm glad to have found you all and to know that KSH is keen to expand the forum with new sections if we get enough requests.

I hope that you all had an excellent time at the Christmas Bash. Hopefully you are now 'on track' for the real thing on the 25th!


This is a busy time for everyone, so I am sure the forum isn't as busy as usual, however I am looking forward to reading all the posts, and useful information, once the Festive Season is out of the way. By January everyone will be thinking ahead to their 2014 trips, and I expect to learn a lot from regular members then!
