bank cards alert using abroad

dont forget to let your bank know if you are going abroad,you may find that if you dont your card will be blocked.as this happened to me 2 years ago.and was a right pain to get it cleared. 

Did mine last week Frank and what a fuss as I tried to do it online but you could only enter one destination so I tried Spain and then tried to enter Portugal and possibly France on the way home, well after peeing about for 30mins I decided to call them.

They said as long as you are only travelling to several destination countries within Europe counts as one destination   but if you travel outside the EU even though you travelled through Europe to get there you have to have multi cover.

i was called up to the office today in ormskirk and the guy filled all the forms in online,and then he said you are now covered for fraud while abroad.that was in the halifax.
in the natwest it was just a click on the pc and done.
