The £140 was an expense to cover the hire of two rooms during the weekend - one for our party Friday night and one for the AGM Saturday
I did give a breakdown of all finances at the meeting but welcome further queries if members are unsure

Appreciate what you are saying but we did need a room for AGM and the venue chosen for the Christmas party was expensive
The cost was just for part of day - not whole day
Friday evening  and Saturday afternoon
The room was included in the price of the meal on Saturday

The Christmas rally is not shown on the balance sheet at all and will be on next years
There were numerous fundraising activities kindly provided by members which covered the costs of the room hire and we still made a profit.
The length of the AGM was dependant upon questions and comments from members and the room was used for a committee meeting after the AGM

Financial years run from AGM to AGM  and obviously the meet finances were not sorted till after the AGM .
Members are quite welcome to see any balance sheet but displaying such on an open topic is unadvisable
