| Polly DO NOT take it as Gospel that a site is full, it very often is no where near full. The website is rubbish. Phone the site itself and most times you will get a booking easy.
We dropped the C&CC but remained with CC

| Polly, I agree with Techno. We are members of CC and have been for years. Their sites are very nice but there seem to be an awful lot of members who book via website but don't actually turn up so always check with the wardens first before giving up.
The York site is nice (Rowntree Park) but only go during the summer as it is prone to flooding.

| When going to Burrs Park, make sure everything is secure, as 200 yards of cobbles to the entrance will find anything loose. We opened the fridge when we got there to find 6 smashed eggs, urgh! Chirk is a great site, walk along canal, over Chirk Viaduct or to Chirk Castle and the great smell of chocolate if wind in right direction (Cadbury, or whatever it is called now, Cocoa factory). | |

That's it, we'll never see Polly again, she'll stay at Chirk forever _________________ Keeping Leapys boat sailing [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

| Chirk and Burrs Park are both nice sites Polly, Burrs for retail therapy, just a nice walk from the site and a nice town to shop in as far as towns go.
Hey check out Chirk for us as I am sure they have a large rally field

| I can't recall a rally field but one tip I can give is the site always gets full at weekends and it's rare to find a vacancy on the website but if you have a motorhome under 6m, it's worth phoning the site direct as they have 5 pitches under 6m which cannot be included in the website count in case a long MH should book. | |

| Chatsworth is lovely Polly. We have been several times at weekends. You can go into Chatsworth Park via a gate and there is a Brasserie there that you can have lunch, some gift shops and gardening type shops selling plants. You can go around the house and or the gardens, all worth visiting. Izzy will be in heaven | |

| I'm at knaresborough CC weekend after next. 10 minute walk to the Guy fawkes pub which I'm hoping is still under the new tennant that took over over a year ago. The food was awesome and log fires. | |
