Took out the two rear shockers on a speed bump on my 5 month old Fait Royale in Narbonne Plage, did have 30 case of vino in the back.

Still got the new ones Alco sent me for replacement.

You'll love it round here then, they kindly put speed bumps in 3 squares rather than one wide strip, drive down the middle of the road and you miss them

They do that Ken so that Fire Engines, Ambulances and buses can drive between the spaces and not get their suspension ruined. Doesn't matter about our cars of course

In a smart car you can drive between them in the middle of the road..as long as no one is comming the other way

I charge Barbs on the 12v in the m/h but it takes a long time Polly. Better on mains.

Just ordered my new tyres for MH- from Camskill- gone for Continentals at £126.50 each- ouch this is getting an expensive month!

You think thats expensive Pete, I had a frozen Air Dryer valve on the van this morning, no rear brakes or handbrake, drove to Oaktree (very carefully) and when they sorted the camera they got some mechanics in from a transport company across the road.

Well after half an hour they managed to get the valve defrosted and get some wd40 in to displace the water (the frozen water would not let the valve sit properly and release the air for the brakes) so I drove home via my garage.

They ordered the filter (its just like an oil filter in size and shape) and then the bombshell £98.99 + vat + fitting so your tyres ain't that bad m8

That's a blow Bob, Nearly £120 for a filter that seems a lot steep unless it has some precious metal in it

Right on Baza, it is probably a Fram filter in a Mercedes box but it is a special one as it dries the air being sent from the compressor to the rear brakes and should be changed according to the manual every 12mths and this one is the original at 10yrs old no wonder it froze up.

Or well that's not too bad that works out at only £12 per year

Don't think I will changing it every 12mths Baza, but deffo every 24mths as we are on an economy drive

Obviously it cant be that necessary to change every 12 months ,otherwise it would not have lasted as long as it has,it could be another way to fleece us M/H ers

£166 per tyre (delivered) plus £10 for KWIK fit to put one on and balance. I drive a lot in winter so M+S is worth it for me otherwise I too would have gone for the Conti

Bought some tool hanging clips from Lidl and mounted my wifi aerial just inside wardrobe (storage only)- so it didn't take up space in a cupboard

Some cheap vino from Aldi , so I have the awful task of checking it is alright before Rina has any , I think one bottle should give me some idea

I bought everything to replace all the pipework etc from the underslung LPG tank. Another example of shite dealer workmanship. fitting a vapour filter too to while I'm at it.

Just remembered it was not the AA but the RAC chappie that recommended the Ring RAC900 tyre inflator, very similar to that one Andy.

RAC900 is half the size, only one piston

I only do one tyre at a time.
