Well it is seven and a half months since we came across the channel and now we are about 50 miles from Calais. We have gotten so used to warm dry weather we would really like some assurance that Spring has sprung up in the cold wet north before we venture back across the channel

Spring has sprung down here in Bournemouth the past week Alan, will have a better idea what it's like further north at the weekend when we are all at weston some say snow , but I think it's just rumours.

Sunshine/cloud/sunshine/cloud/sunshine in Lancashire, if we could get the clouds to stay still it would be gorgeous

They do say "micheal fish and co" that the last 2 weeks of April and ALL of May will be a heatwave, do hope they are right, France at the moment is enjoying great temperatures and we should get that very shortly.

They've not got past Benidorm yet, enjoying the constant 28 deg of the past week (or 2). Friends have arrived today from only 50 mls north and can't beleive how hot it is here. We are leaving in 2 weeks, just can't stand the heat! And that's at 5 am after sticky vicky's show!!!
regards Allen
