Izzy as had a shower ready for her hair cut tomorrow, must get her jumper out of the van
All back to normal tomorrow so Tilly afternoon tomorrow
Ohhhhhh busy busy busy
And a family tree to print out and organise for a distant relation

Been researching the Hebredes for May and I am beginning to find where places are
This will be the first of many of my researching

Well once the rain had stopped, it was time to work on the van. I had six awkward bolts to get off, and yes one was seized solid, copious amounts of tea and something else, and the job was finally done. Forgot to take pictures, oops.
Note to self, must take pictures when doing bits and bobs. Wink

It's Wednesday, or B&Q 10% day, so off to said store for bits and bobs and pricing. So got some stuff towards my new van, ( got it last Saturday ) and as soon as weather allows will put first window in. Pictures will follow at some point if I can get my camera head in gear. Very Happy

New year has arrived & I've had to replace both leisure batteries as the mini cold spell killed one of them whilst we were in Cornwall so I've matched them at the same time.
Today went up to the van & now the genny wont start even though it has been running over xmas.
onwards & upwards!

Mark you made me go and check on MOT and insurances

Car and motorhome due services and MOT in March and motorhome is going to have a new cam belt and maybe tyres

Insurances are due in May

Grrrrrrrrrr

But hopefully will not effect my holiday funds

And I hopefully will be in the Hebredes in May

Well after my fall at Southport Airshow the doc is finally sending me for an x ray
So I will take my flask, some Christmas cake and my cushion , oh and my kindle for my day out

I have been trying to get some information from someone for 5 weeks now and I am losing my patience. So the phone calls will carry on today and see if I can talk to this lady. Well she was good at avoiding me yesterday

Also will be looking at flights over to Lourdes from Birmingham or London for maybe next week
Looks as though it may be a plane to toulouses then hirer a car and I will drive as my sister well I think I want control
As my brother as taken a turn for the worst.

Good morning motorhomers
Sunny morning here but heavy rain through the night. So much rain that the A1 was closed at Catterick because it was flooded. Weather forecast for more heavy rain and snow this afternoon so wondering if we are to suffer floods like those of September 2012.

Sorry to hear about your brother Polly and your back is still causing pain.

I went to Dr's about my falling last year and pain in my knees. Referred to a Physiotherapist and told not to walk long distances just potter about as I should have had a new knee over a year ago! So mobility scooter serviced and cleaned up with new batteries so I can whizz round the shops. Been offered new knee but feel ill thinking about foreign body inside leg. Not heard of successful knee operation locally either. Plus side I now have a blue badge and can park just about anywhere.

I am still catching up on posts Peter and see you have been having further medical tests. Hope they are finding out what is making you breathless.

The knee diagnosis has made me determined to keep my independence Peter. I am hoping I will have less pain in the summer. To prove independence I have put my name down for several meets.
