Hia

Serious question

The flamma bike rack was on my van when I bought it and was on the van from new

I've got my back box fastened on it now as I couldn't lift my bike onto the rack as I am not to strong  Back box and movement 372028940

Our George travelled in the back last week and said the back panel of the van was bouncing

When I was relighted to travel in the back I forgot to watch it but did notice that the box was bouncing about.

Just wondered if this will damage the seals of the van

And would this happen if bikes were on the rack instead of the box

Thanks

Polly I would check the nuts & bolts on the bike rack which are fitted to the main timber frame of the van 1st making sure they are tight then test drive it again with someone in the back to see if there is any movement.
If there is movement on the back panel then, it may be a bit more serious but don't panic!! Have a specialist look at the panel.
This is just my opinion I'm sure others will have there's.
Cheers polly.

I agree with Mark Polly as I said in the FB post, it does need a serious look at the problem as any work required now and then done will save you a whole lot of pain and cost if left.

Is this seen from inside the van? are you sure it isn't just your mirror bouncing? I have seen your mirror shaking about when your moving. But it does need looking at ASAP

Hia

Van is back

So I was there going pressing the inside panels and all is ok
Then went outside to shake the box all is ok

Think I over reacted and when I have been out in her this week it's the Murrow on the box that's shaking about so one day will see about taking it of and filling the holes in. The morrow went on because the holes were there so thought it would stop the rain going into the box

Oh well now I have the van back but now no car kids. Hopefully Carl will get his camer back with a rebuilt engine.
His cam belt slackened and caused some major problems think that is what happened

Thought it might be, it does wobble quite a bit, I noticed it when you were at Bridlington
