As most of you know I had a blow out on my van which destroyed the outer wing
I contacted Carthago who wouldn't deal with me direct and so I have had to work with Premium Motorhomes -who have been very helpful
However the price for the part including £60 shipping fees is £ 322- ouch
Should be ordering it later today!

Were your ears burning Saturday Peter we were talking about you.  Went out to start a Carthago - same as yours but with a cross over bed.

We have been looking at Carthago's to swap for the Hymer but didn't realise they were that expensive for parts.  Think we may have to reconsider and stick with another Hymer at that rate. Crying or Very sad

Grit your teeth Pete as it will be worth it.

Called at Premium motorhomes near Bawtry today to collect part for MH but not sure it's the correct one lol
Some very nice new carthagos for sale if you fancy treating yourself for Christmas - although you wouldn't get it till next June lol

Mmm, they give rubbish part exchange deals though Pete, spoken to them before.  They were only prepared to offer us £15k for Helga against a brand new one, been offered twice that against a cheaper motorhome by another dealer so wouldn't go to them unless you have cash. Shocked

Well have contacted the dealer and said it wasn't the correct part as although it fits you can still see the original screw holes when it's in situ and there is no way you can fit the mounting bracket provided.
Awaiting a response

The Saga continues
Carthago no longer produce the wheel arch I need  as spares and suggest that the new part is fitted higher to cover screw holes- although I can't see how as it has to go over the bottom rail
Not sure where to go from here?

I believe for some Rapido's that brownhills used the opposite wheel arch to make a mirror image of the other side. It's not unusual to find this situation with any make unfortunately.
If your moulding is symetrical i.e. would fit either side then it would be simple to produce
