THERE were reports of an earthquake on the Derbyshire-Nottinghamshire border tonight.
It was initially reported to have occurred in the Dale Abbey area, between Ilkeston and Spondon.

The British Geological Survey subsequently said that the 2.6 magnitude tremor occurred in Nottinghamshire at 7.16pm on Tuesday.
