Thank you all for the good wishes and to bring you all up to date on Christine
Christine Developed post operative pneumonia and an infection following her gallbladder removal
She is still in ICU and the antibiotics have started to kick in
Christine is responding well and is showing a great improvement, still a long way to go but getting there.

Hi all update on Christine.
Christine has been transferred from ICU this afternoon back onto the surgical ward
Still having oxygen, antibiotic and pain relief. But looking so much better now

Fingers crossed, Christine should be going home on Thursday, she's had a really rough time, hope it is all uphill from now on

Read on fb that Christine has been taken back into hospital - hope things go okay

Not again!! John told me on Saturday that she was doubled up in pain and was going to get the doctor out

Yes Christine back in hospital again discharged on the 7^th may GP sent her back on the 11^th with post operative complications.After more x-rays and CT scans they found two more pockets of infection in her abdomen, back on IV antibiotics and saline Drip because she is now very dehydrated, Christine has now lost over one and a half stone because she is unable to eat or drink anything they say she may have a blockage in her duodenum.
