| Thanks Quicksam. Unfortunately we only got as far as Baldock to fill up our Gas when we had an Engine Warning Light come on. We limped home and called the RAC who are looking at our Alternator! Such a disappointment. We only get 24 hours to change our crossing so hope we get a definitive answer to the problem tonight.  | |

| It always seems to happen when your setting off or when your there, never when your on your way home so aren't as bothered  I had a slight problem when we were away, my glow plugs have stopped working, takes a bit longer to start but at least it does start, glad it wasn't freezing, we would have been stuck, got some new ones here to fit next time I get to the van _________________ Keeping Leapys boat sailing [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

Bob you were a bit north of Baldock, you started your problems at St Neots or Wyboston Lakes (all the same place to us locals) but still close enough. It must be the air ha ha ha. We have a company trying to locate a replacement alternator for us and we have the local bus garage on standby to do the work as soon as we have the part in our possession. I am sure we will forget about it and enjoy ourselves once we are over in France Polly Thanks for your well wishes, must get on. | |
