An update on Laos .the Border Terrier.for dog lovers on the forum....well we left the little fella (Laos).. last night for the first night away from his mom ....down stairs with Bruce... and we went to bed...after a couple of barks...looks like Laos tried to get into Bruce's bed with him......even though the little fella has his own bed....up this morning now in his own bed .....and no miss-haps.....except for two shredded toys.
At the moment weather here in France... it is raining..

LAOS.....Christine said ...it sound's like...laros..but without the R ???..that is what it sounded like from the lady (breeder) we purchased from Polly...and he comes to his name... so we may not change it....... Polly it is very difficult in France in French as they don't pronounce a lot of there letters ...they seem to drop them even though they are there

£50 vet bill...is that to repair the Rat..back to life... a pet ..or ...Did the rat bite Oscar Maurice..is that why you took it to the vet....two things mainly with a rat bites...."Rat bite fever" and leptospirosis which could cause a kind of jaundice in Dogs... it attacks the liver....we hope Oscar is Ok.............Maurice over here the Border Terrier are used for the wild boar kill... ..as the breeder said they may be small....but they are quick very strong ...so the weee Rat Mmmmm

Like fish rat gets bigger in the telling but definitely large and now v. dead. Yes, it did bite Oscar so took him to vet just in case. Just shows though instinct will out. Was once told he's only little dog so he won't have powerful jaws - wouldn't recommend they test that theory! Agree with fast & strong (and can sharp turn at speed). Plus Laos so cute what more could you ask?

I wouldn't take any notice of that, Max bit me on Sunday, well not bit me but got hold of me, he mangaed to get a bone out of the bin, we don't allow them bones so I took it off him after prying his jaws open and when I got it out he lunged to get it back but got my finger instead and locked onto it thinking it was the bone didn't half get hold and I had to say flipping heck to get him off Didn't bring blood but I knew he'd had hold of me and he's only a bit bigger than the rat probably
