Bridlington Meet, Wilsthorpe - 6th to 16th July

We have decided to put a limit of 40 vans for this meet, we know they won't all be there at the same time but if we need to use the event shelters (we usually do) there won't be enough space to fit everyone in

10 nights arrive on 6th leave site on 16th.
Price  £6.50 per unit per night  plus usual £1 per person rally fee.
We have a skip on site and ask members to contribute £1 per person (Max of £2 per unit)

Thursday 6th - Get together - chit chat
Friday 7th - Fun quiz
Saturday 8th - Kim's Quiz - Football card
Sunday 9th - The famous Motor-Homers tray race!
Monday 10th - Bingo
Tuesday 11th - Jimbohorlicks Charity Auction (afternoon) Chinese raffle in the evening
Wednesday 12th - Lottery bonus ball - Under the chair Prize (Tried it at Marbury and promise it's not biscuits)
Thursday 13th - Boules (weather dependent) Play your cards right in the evening
Friday 14th - Bingo
Saturday 15th - Coffee morning - Scattering of Peters ashes in the evening followed by American supper in the event shelters
Sunday 16th - Close of meet

Follow signs for park and ride then turn right at the mini roundabout - see video below

Well the weather is being kind to us except for Tuesday when it rained
But plenty of red and brown faces with the help of the sun and breeze

We have had a full itinerary of events so I am taking five minutes with coffee and a cake
Well why not

Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves and Lyn celebrated her birthday last night
Photos will follow when home and on the laptop I hope but sure someone will put some on

Back home from a great meet at Bridlington, had a lovely time catching up with old friends and meeting new ones , such a warm welcome , fab fun each night especially when I walked off with the winnings for playing my cards right ,☺ sorry we missed saying bye to some of you but see you at Christmas 'do' Sue & Eric

Fantastic meet hope everyone enjoyed themselves , nice to meet old and new friends , we did peter proud raising 700 hundred pounds for the RNLI a big thankyou to everybody x

had a great week,a big thank you to ken and adele for all your hard work,it was much appreciated by all.also the 2 marshalls for the great job they done.

Arrived back home around 2.00pm and motorhome already fuelled up and gas bottles filled ready for our next trip.
Thanks to Ken, Adele, Polly, Andy and everyone else who worked their socks off to make this a fantastic meet, Peter would have been proud.

Had a really great time at Bridlington, Im new to all of this but was made welcome by everyone, special thanks to Ken n adele for taking me under their wing and showing me the ropes, and Frank my ribs are still hurting from laughing so much, thank you for making me feel I was amongst friends.  sorry Bruce was a bit of a nuisance, hope he didn't wake any of you up tooooo early.
hope you'll have me back, can't wait till next time!

Thanks to all motoromers for a fantastic Bridlington meet. Fantatic weather,great nights in the  event sheters and a nice amout raised fo the RNLI.
Thanks to Ken and Adele for their hard work and bingo sessions etc. And the marshalls  for ther organising. A really great meet and a fitting sed off for Peter.
A very enjoyable 10 days.

Great meet, great company, great entertainment organised.
Largest meet to date!!! Never seen 4 event shelters erected! Peter would have been so chuffed...

Many thanks to everyone that organised this meet, the whole thing was a lovely tribute to Peter. Saturday was very special even to those of us who did not know Peter well. I'm sure he would be very proud of his lovely family and friends.
