9b. Xmas Meet At Whittingham Club, Goosnargh, Nr Preston 9th to 14th Nov 2017

After a vote by members, this years Xmas meet will be held at
Whittingham & Goosnargh Sports & Social Club
Old Whittingham Hospital Grounds

On Sarturday 11th November they will be having a group night
This years group is the very popular Queenesque http://www.queenesque.com/
Tickets will be for sale at £5 each (TBC)

I have provisionally booked 12 spaces, more available but camping spaces will sell out fast once word gets out that this group is on, so best getting your name down quick.

We will have use of the function room during our rally but will not be able to use it on Saturday

Xmas meal? Do we go to the Grapes again? very nice last year, but The Stags Head is being done up, will find out opening dates, selling food etc.

Your rally marshals for this meet will be "The Motor-Homers Committee"

Yes things seem to be falling into place. But we could change things around. Also anythingg can happen

last year if you wasnt in the club on band night by 7.30 you didnt get a seat.and had to sit in the snooker room.also a few of us brought a little to eat that goes down well when having a drink.

We can bring some games with us rumikub triominoes etc Amanda is quite good at both if anyone fancy the challenge she even has a Walt Disney monopoly if any one has a couple if hours spare only joking lol. Looking forward to all the activities Bill might not line dance unless he has had a few but Amanda and I will have a go.
How much money do we need to bring with us for the camping side of things please I've tried scrolling can't but find it. . We will be there Thursday but as yet not sure on time. . X Kate

Camping price is £12 per night with EHU, we're going to the grapes for the meal, he was supposed to be sending me a menu, but I've emailed him twice and spoke to him twice but he still hasn't sent it :-(

Home now after a brilliant weekend, Mother Christmas delivered the pressies, avoided the Mankini in the Chinese raffle and were royally entertained by Queenesque. Thanks to all who made the weekend so enjoyable.

This one not an adult one though, are Tilly's 7th Birthday

Just unloaded my van and I am surprised at how much I take with me.
Might have to get a van with an outside cupboard
Anyway the photos are on my laptop and I will have to search for the charger as I can't find where I put it. It could still be in the van.

Thank you Ken, Adele, Polly, Frank and the rest of the committee for making the meet one to remember. Meal was lovely , Saturday night really good. Mother Christmas was a wonderful substitute ( "don't trust men with beards " my mother said ). Spiffing just spiffing all of it.
