| Such sad news. Our hearts go out to Pauline and the family.
Rita and I have known Pete, since the days of FACTS, back in 2005. We met on several meets, and I always enjoyed having a pint with Peter. He was always very quick witted, and as sharp as a pin with it too.
Pete was a stalwart, both here on Motor-Homers, as well as on previous MH groups. He will be sadly missed by sooooo many.
RIP Leapy.

| So sad to hear this news...we have been getting updates every few days from Pauline, bless her, she has been so strong throughout this very difficult time. Pete made us so welcome when we first joined the MH he came knocking on the door of the van with his raffle ticket box and quiz sheets, nothing was ever too much trouble for him to bring everyone together....RIP Peter a true gentleman....from John X Marie ...thanks to all those who gave him and Pauline support over the last few weeks❣ | |

| I am devastated at the news that Peter has past away , he was one of the best person I met since I became a motorhome owner , it is so sad that the best are taken first , we had our differences but I always respected Pete , he was the heart and sole of Motorhomers , and previously Motor roamers , I was removed from Motorhomers but would not let that stop me paying my respects to a great person and heart and sole of Motorhomers RIP Peter Heart felt condolences to Pauline and family

| Peter was a true gentleman this was quickly apparent when we first met him at a Motorhomefacts meet late 2004.
We went from Facts to Nomads to Roamers and then Motorhomers where Peter excelled at meeting and greeting everyone as they attended his well attended meets at Bridlington. Peter kept us out of mischief with his quizzes and party games. He will be missed by all.
I kept in touch with Peter through his recent illness and it was obvious he was in terrible pain and although Peter's passing is a sad loss his pain is no more.
Peter's signature on one of the forums was 'always sailing into the sunset' and that is what I imagine him doing - pain free.
RIP Peter Lea. | |
