Electric bikes

Toying with getting a couple of electric bikes , would appreciate advice on what or what not to buy

bobski buys and sells them.

tesco great deals they were 399 original 699 good bike to

just had a look at them,look a good bike for the money.i was on the last page of ordering one,then i seen the delivery date from the 2nd jan.so i left it,possibly get it cheaper after xmas,so i will get one for margarita then,

when we looked these 699

This is the Tesco one by another name, still not as cheap as Tesco. They have had them on BidTV as well..

that has got me,a total nobhead when it comes to technical things.my head is spinning.i think i need to hear it spoken,very slowly about 10 times.thanks anyway steve.

I have visions of all these pensioners zooming around Spain on their leccy bikes in shorts and flip-flops, have to get them all a SatNav so they can find their way home.

The quest goes on ,and now I have realized, to have bikes I will need bike rack as garage is not big enough for bikes , more expense and more decisions

The guinea -pigs Jackie n Greg put there bikes under the bed as they did not want a bike rack

Baza we have electric bikes on our Cheyenne.

We have a Maxxraxx fitting that clamps on behind the towball and carries them and then we tow the car using A Frame.

Will look at Mexxraxx , does your Cheyenne have the spare wheel on the back like mine ,as the tow ball does not protrude very far past spare wheel carrier, also are your bikes electric as they are a bit heavier

I just spoke with Bazza and he doesn't think it would fit yours. We have our spare wheel in the garage.

Yes they are electric and also folding and when we got them we put them under the bed but they were a pain to get out. Then we put them in the garage but they took up so much room we got this Maxxraxx.

Designed more for scooter but you could fit two bikes on but may need to add extra bracket to stop then touching back of MH-you rachet a scooter down but not sure that you could same to bikes!!

yes Jan they are pricey but very good, just looked at the Maxxraxx and they look good as well but both of them leave a good extra length too the m/h.

Thanks all will carry on with research, but do need to decide on rack before I choose bikes

Also have two bike carriers -Thule that I made to fit the tow bar bracket- that you hang bike on

Think the ones that bolt on the back of towball wont fit due to my spare wheel . do you have pics of it Pete

No pictures but does bend away from vehicle- will send pictures later as they are at back of garage

we have to normal bikes and bilt fitness slowly good fun

Weather permitting we will be going to test drive some bikes tomorrow , found a supplier only 10 mile away that has a few demonstrators

Looks like a good piece of kit Baza, along the Thule lines but very much cheaper.

The rack looks neat how is it fitted Baza.

It clamps to the tow ball , so when that is on I wont be able to take car as well like you do , but I am a bit wary of towing with the bikes on , for weight and also when turning. fear of bikes hitting car

Fit a tow ball on the car, put bikes on that - sorted

I'd take them bikes off, put a trailer behind the car for all the bits n bobs, put a roof rack on it and put the bikes on that

I could just put wheels on the house and take the lot with me
