Here we go
Tv I’m finally making the move away next week. I’m going to Hayfield C&CC site Only down the road so if I wobble I can get back easy.
Wobbly Yes not a word I’ve used for years. But having no Izzy with me , will make a difference. No doggy walks.
But my question I will be on electric not sure what the tv reception is like. I have a EE box that I switch on with the tv and record programs. My question if I attach the box to my tv in the motorhome will it work or do I need internet. As I have a fire stick and apparently that works of internet
Told you I’m not technicol
Will try out tomorrow and see what problems if any occur , so be warned.
Anyone done this ?

well done Polly... you did it! only thing is.... did you do it outside your home? if so it maybe that your box/fire stick could still connect to your home wifi and may not work when you move away... hope it does work for you though!

I am here again with my question Hopefully just the one and not questions.
My EE recording box. I use it at home
But when away it came up as no internet
So didn’t get it to work.
Well I have just been in the motorhome to try it out again.
I’m plugged into elec, but the EE box showed red as no power. I tried a different socket in the van but still didn’t fire up.
So I think I may have to ask Father Christmas for a recording box Any ideas not an expensive one Just an easy to use box

Polly, do you mean record at home and then take the recording away with you? If you do, just a tv recorder (DVR) will do. My Panasonic is about five or six years old now, I can record single programs or series which it puts onto a massive hard drive. If I wanted to I could then put them on to DVDs. There are probably recorders out now that record to a memory stick Dave.
