Just to confirm we will be arriving on Wednesday the 5th following Toledo's funeral. Should be staying till the end of the meet.

Hi Polly don't worry to much  bout the bingo machine Amanda has a bingo app on her iPad and a speaker so we shall be ok for if folk want a game it's bingo tickets I'm short of  hope they sell them at Bakewell as I don't have time to go and buy any now .

£12.50 per night one of payment £1 per person rally fee
[size=54]Small fee for bins will let you know how much once we know numbers and days of attendance of folk. 
There will be a fire on some evenings so donations of logs wood etc would be appreciated 


Hi everyone. Ok here's an update from Bridget at Bakewell . There is an event on the field the day before we arrive and there will be a large marquee that will need to be taken down on the Sunday morning ,so can I ask please that no one arrives before 12 midday on Sunday.

Also can I ask everyone to post on here what day you will be arriving and leaving on and roughly at what times please . 


On the 6th June it's the 80th anniversay of Dday . Was thinking of an afternoon f/ chip tea which we could either get your orders and f/chip shop to deliver or Bill can go with his cooler bag again we could get the union flags and table cloths out weather permitting.

We made it home OK. Thanks to Kate and Bill and all the motorhomers for a great week in Bakewell .
Thanks to the pushers and pullers for trying to get us off the field this morning and Pete the tractor for the tow off.
Sorry if we missed saying goodbye to anyone but will no doubt see you in a field later in the year.

Back home and unpacked. Thanks Kate and Bill for organising the meet, Polly for the chocolate cakes, Steve for the Samosas and bread crates making getting off the field a doddle after last night's rain, Kate for the sausage rolls and cheese board and everybody for the company.

Hi everyone well what a lovely meet despite what the weather throwed at us. We want to say a BIG thankyou to everyone you all mucked in and made this meet a memorable one (especially when the marquee was ruined by the freak whirlwind and driving heavy rain , after a lot of sewing and duct tape and a few engineers it was back up to save the week of rain wind and kept us warm and dry ) . Thanks Dave & San for helping marshalling with us very much appreciated.
As we were last to leave we locked the gate behind us and typical the sun came out .thanks everyone who helped to make sure everyone got of field safely . Will put some pics on in few days . See you all next year . 29th May to 10 th June god willing Bill Kate & Amanda

Home now via Asda Spondon for our Autogas, (72.7ppl). MH emptied and drained down, grass cut, awning mats scrubbed, (shan't be doing that everytime we come home ), and the washing is about to go on the line. 

Our thanks to Bill, Kath, Amanda, Dave, Sandra, Steve, Irene, John, and  everyone who attended, contributed, and helped to make the Rally the success it was. Much appreciated all.

Back home now via Carvers Wolverhampton for the Autogas (67.5) Just started to empty the motorhome but have stopped for a much needed cuppa.
