Christmas

Hi guys really struggling to find a venue for Christmas meet any body got any idear
I have considered The ship inn at Austerfield again but not sure what you all think all in put would be appreciated thanks paul

Well we were the first to be served the Christmas meal 2 years ago so ours was warm. But other people said their food was cold when served so perhaps won't be too happy at going back. Apart from that we'd be happy about returning.
Is Hacey not open in winter ? They have hard standing and electric ?

We met up with Paul & Mel recently to stay and eat at the Rose & Crown at Holbeach Hurn as a possible Christmas venue. After staying there we felt it wasn’t an ideal venue, we never got to eat as the kitchen closed early, something the landlord forget to mention when we checked in. Paul also checked out a place that Karen ( Frogg ) had been to but they didn’t have enough pitches to accommodate us. So if any members have any other recommendations that would be great. I see Haxey has been suggested, it’s a possibility should the site remain open all year.

Hi guys manged to book the ship inn again at Austerfield near Bawtry  from the 28/11/24 till 2/12/24 Christmas dinner will be on the Saturday  
the landlady says she put us a menu together in the next few weeks and a shure me the dinner will be hot
