looking like a very nice day out there, what are you all doing today?

Been out for a couple of miles, kept to the roads as the fields are well soaked.
All the roads are clear now !
The pig farm has had to move all the animals to higher ground.

back from our morning strollIzzy looks very wet from the grass and the manmade stream.
We met our local wino friends lovely couple discussed that there are no benches with shelter

let next doors dog out now having my lunch before I go to Ti Chi

chappy finally coming tomorrow re bump

I have a funeral sometime awaiting the day and time

busy week out for lunch on Wednesday

Bed arriving Friday

and the finishing of the stripping might do it later or tomorrow

Been very wet here too today. Had a busy morning and was wondering whether to walk into town, but it's all looking very black skies and stormy so need to make a decision smartish

Another wet night but now just windy- no walking yesterday- as no dry land to walk on -even in middle of roads!!

Drove through gale force winds and rain in the smart car to visit Son and Daughter in Law. Not the most pleasant of journeys! Had a nice time though and home now.

Good morning all, still dry but very chilly.

Busy morning today, off down to the starage yard at 8am, load all cushions, seats etc and take them to the upholsterers, pick new foam up and drop that off, back to the van and remove the seat bases and fit the new cab carpet, have to go down town and got a couple of sites to ring, any spare time will be used finding rally venues

Just getting light here, dry with no rain , hope it stays that way as we head away today for our few days away and visit to NEC , if it gets too bad I will be shouting for Pete to rescue us in his boat

Arrived with no problem , very pleasant journey in thee sunshine , site is very dry considering the rain , the boundary of the site is on the bank of the River Tame , with really super views over the river and lake ( at the moment it is riverlake as it is all one ) ,it will have to rain some before we need Pete in his boat to rescue us as we are about 30 foot above the river level, like I said super views

Forgot to say , we are on the Cs ,will have a work round tomorrow and check out rally field, doing a short walk tonight to check out the Pub

Feels like there's going to be a frost tonight, so be prepared. $£:

I don' t notice the cold if I spend enough time in the pub :-x

It's forecast minus 3 tonight round here and to get colder

Almost recovered from yesterday-daughter was very late picking up grandaughter and then was stuck on way home by a closed road

Eye test this morning -might help with my typing!

I had a letter yesterday from the physio so phoned this morning and managed to get cancelled for this afternoon

so Izzy as had her walk I have finished off the scraping of wallpaper (only a little bit was left)
now coffee and crumpet time

Frosty here too, off in the van this morning , seems like a long time since we have used it, feel like a kid with a new toy again

Was frosty here too this morning. Mick has taken Helga to fill her up with diesel as we have a 10p a litre off at Sainsburys.

Off to football tomorrow to see Spurs v Fulham. We will be a Craven Cottage and we have Corporate Hospitality. I will only be there to make up the numbers, I had better remember to take my Kindle or I may get bored.

Sunshine here feels like Christmas with thw frost shining, it is a beautiful day.

so I set to work undoing my old bed --no problem
son at work
phoned brother in law who is into scrap he said he will send a lad round for it

put all the pieces for my new bed out to make sure everything was there

then coffee time

phoned Mike (sue's husband) as he is of work

"Mike are you busy before you answer that I have my new bed and wondered if you could just check the tightness of the screws for me"

Mike answered
"I am waiting for a parcel then I will come round"

again I am still waiting

I HATE HAVING TO DEPEND ON PEOPLE

I will now be sleeping in the great great aunty's bed tonight use to be really really comfy you sunk into the mattress really really bouncy (ask my grandsons)

but I changed the mattress to a orthopaedic one nice and firm


oh and my sewing machine needs attention

Early frosty but just had a sudden down pour- off out pre-walking one that I'm leading on Tuesday-not been able to do before due to ground conditions
Shall have to take my time as everything might turn very icy!

Izzy is off for her hair cut at 10 and I am out with daughter and granddaughter to tackle Christmas shoppers
then off to Mc i Dees for Christmas burger
then back to collect Izzy and sort the bed out
