Looking to extend my home network using powerline adapters, not sure of what models/makes are the best, anyone used them and any suggestions.

| I use them, not sure of the make, they were supplied with my BT box, I only use them for that though, use wireless for everything else. _________________ Keeping Leapys boat sailing [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

| Hi, Thanks both of you for the links makes interesting reading, Ken how do you find them compared with the Wifi.
The reason for me looking at them is that I recently upgraded to Fibre and I'm getting 49 down and 17 up using a patch cable direct into the router in the living room, but my office is upstairs and I can only use Wifi and the signal drops off quiet a lot I can only get 38 down and 15 up, which Isn't bad but its where I use the computer most so I was wondering if the Powerline adapters would get me the same as at the router ? |

| Can't really comment as I don't use it to connect a PC too, just the BT vision box, we don't have any lag or anything on the TV, record, rewind etc all works well. I keep meaning to put one upstairs and attach a wireless access point to it but haven't as yet, mine is the same upstairs, keeps dropping on and off at times _________________ Keeping Leapys boat sailing [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |
