Shovelling Snow or Leave it where it is ?

Hi, Just went out and started to shovel some of the snow away from the front door etc. but it has left the path slippery so I have stopped, what the best leave it where it is and wait for it to melt of shovel it up ?

clear the pathway enough to walk through,then salt/grit it.thats what margarita does.

From what I can gather you should clear the snow & ice on the pavement as well in front of your drive.

just going to put some free salt on my drive been crash on cross roads today just up road no salt [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] only jokeing i left a bit
