2/If the government opt out of the EU the politicians will have to make the decisions solely for us.

3/Is David Cameron talking about the referendum for 2017 to make sure he gets reelected.

I believe David Camerons own position is "IN" so I'm not sure what/why he is proposing this referendum.

However, it does seem more like a destabilising move against UKIP which may or may not work, as their only claim to fame is that they believe the majority of the British people want "OUT" but I'm not sure that's correct, so perhaps Camerons offer undermines or at least puts UKIP's retterick on hold, only they have been getting a growing number of followers recently

If he gets his timeing right it will win him the next election if we vote no it will the same as him and he will use that in some way if yes out he will have given majority wot they wont iam proble wrong but ha be wrong before

I think the EU needs a bit of an overhaul as it has now got so big with its 29 member countries. I don't think we should come out of it as my mantra is:

A united Europe is a peaceful Europe. We are not likely to go to war with other member states and I think that is worth a lot.

I know what you mean about a peaceful Europe, and I welcome it also.

But with the financial hardship in Greece and Spain etc. which is leading to the riots we saw last year doesn't bode well for the future unless some serious sharing of the burden is measured between all member states.

However, I'm sorry but I really can't see that happening any-time soon, as no one appears too want to pay off someone else's debt.

Europe appears to be in a bit of a good will bubble at the moment as the political reterrick appears to be working very well and the media attention has been turned, however I'm not sure just how long that will last as the heavy borrowings by some of these countries still need to be repaid, and I have a feeling the media honeymoon may not last to long
