When we broke down in France I totally forgot that we have a 3rd year warranty with MB&G Insurance.but have spoken to them and although they are supposed to approve repairs before they are carried out ,they say that if I forward an explanation of the incident and all invoices for parts and labour and they will consider it.
In the meantime whilst the M/H has been in Camper UK for service and MOT they investigated the cause of the engine warning light coming on now and then ( you know of that fault Bob from when we were in France), well it is apparently something to do with a airflow/throttle thingy and it is a £348 job ,and there is also an intermittent electrical fault with the Truma boiler , which is another £180 .
The good news is that MB&G have agreed to pay the full cost of both jobs , so I am now thinking if I should take up another couple of years with them as this warranty runs out this Tuesday when the van is 3 yrs old
