Well, Polly, they certainly look the business. What will you use it for as it only has a 7" screen, but if you don't have an iPad, but want to do most of your internet on it, it looks good and you do get this:
"Dual-band, dual-antenna Wi-Fi (MIMO) for faster streaming and fewer dropped connections than standard Wi-Fi. Supports public and private Wi-Fi networks or hotspots that use the 802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g, or 802.11n standard with support for WEP, WPA and WPA2 security using password authentication; does not support connecting to ad-hoc (or peer-to-peer) Wi-Fi networks"
Not sure how it would work if you wanted to watch a movie though as a 7" screen is quite small. But as with all Amazon products, they seem to be good and robust. It has a good size memory.
Do you have a John Lewis near you as they sell Amazon products and you can have a look and a play before buying. I did that with my Kindle and so did my friend. Not a bad price either.
