| Didn't want too know Allen, did say that they have now change the finish and it should now not be a problem, they where not interested in me having it done at the factory, saying that they were brilliant with the purchase of o few item and then fitting them FOC which was good as the new door stop (exterior) toke them 2 hours and they did a perfect job, spares are readily available and if its a one of usually FOC. The aire is a hole and full of free loading Hymer H/Ms just wanting a free few nights. Wouldn't take the trouble to go again unless I wanted something special. Having both bumpers repainted at Crosselys next month but it is £500 | |

| Just as I thought Bob. Tempted to try an application of nitromors, then just polish up whats left under the laquer. Got that tip off a car body repair forum.

| Crossleys told me that I would find it very hard to remove the lacquer and that is why the price is high for the repaint, (paint is over £200) fortunately the front bumper has faded so badly it is not a problem the rear bumper however will take some removal. | |

| Just a thought, could you not take the bumpers off yourself & take them to a local bodyshop?. | |

I had the front and rear bumpers of a Kia Sorento about 7 years ago to colour code them with the rest of the car at our local body shop , they made a really super job but it was £150 per bumper and there was not all the prep needed that Bobs rear bumper will need! | |
