Now I have gone and done it

Many of you know I suffer from osteoarthritis in my knees.

I was walking down the footpath the other day and my knee gave way and down I went. I was assisted to my feet and thought I had just suffered shock but my hip and back are painful and I have difficulty walking. Dr prescribed painkillers and rest - and I thought I was doing so well doing more walking.

I feel for you Joyce as I suffer as well. We have walked for years but these days it is getting more difficult especially if steps are involved. The trouble is if you don't exercise its gets even more difficult doesn't it. Hope it doesn't take too long for you to recover, the only good side to it is you have the excuse to do more knitting.  

BTW we loved the North Yorkshire NP and plan to return in the future. We have been in Northumberland for the last week but the weather has been dire, next week the Isle of Man so hope it improves.

Oh boy do I know how you feel. Hope you are better soon. I got my discharge last week but it's still sore.

Jan I agree steps are to be avoided if possible. Pleased to hear you enjoyed the Yorkshire Moors but to get the real taste of Yorkshire visit the Dales. Especially between Leyburn and Hawes, including the Buttertubs.

Barbara pleased to hear you have been discharged. Although your leg still feels sore everyday it is healing a little more.

I told the Dr I don't mind getting old but don't like what comes with it. So he took my blood pressure and said it was high. But that was his fault because he his in his 30 and quite a bit of eye candy

Never mind steps I slipped down a little hill that we call  a bonking but don't want people getting the wrong idea.
I was going up and slipped so turned my self round so I could land on my well padded bottom , which I did but banged my back. Ken said he had the evidence even if it was blurred
Now I have a hurting dull ache silly me 

Oh and I was sober

You only wanted to be in our club section that's why you did it. Come on tell the truth Polly .lol hope you are ok try a hot bath then a glass or two

Don't have a bath had it taken out and shower put in for my late hubby
But it as jets that squirt out so I'll do that
